Dolly Sods Milky Montani

I hiked to Dolly Sods early in the morning to get this picture on 7-18-2020, and I’m really happy with how it turned out. I wanted to stay longer to take a few more but the eyes in the woods in the distance were starting to close in on me and the nerves were on high alert!

Special note:

This image was about a year or so in the making.  Ever since I started taking photos of the stars, I knew I wanted to capture this location.  After posting a cropped version of it on social media, I received resounding support from folks that wanted to purchase the canvas.  That’s when Montani Merch was born!
